ABSTRACT: This article find the construction of women’s bodies in the narrative material of Galaksi Kinanthi Novel. To explore patterns of power in the novel, researchers used the Critical Discourse Analysis theory van Dijk, James Paul Gee, and Sara Mill. The study results show that (1) Galaxy Kinanthi Novel is a discourse that positions women as objects of male violence and cultural violence and (2) Galaxy Kinanthi Novel containing desires Occidentalism writers, even the people of Indonesia to the American culture or attitude boasts a culture abroad. This novel explored more important, especially Tasaro GK role as an author in his capacity as the author of Discourse: Americanism.
