PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF DAN TEORI BELAJAR SOCIO CULTURAL PADA ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract


Sekolah anak usia dini atau sering disebut pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan salah satu tempat untuk mengembangkan aspek perkembangan anak seperti perkembangan fisik motorik, sosial emosional, bahasa dan kognitif. Pada tahap ini, perkembangan kognitif anak diperoleh dari interaksi dengan anak lain, orang tua, atau orang lain yang berada di lingkungan anak. Menurut teori belajar sosio kultural, perkembangan kognitif anak dapat dipengaruhi aspek sosial dan budaya tempat atau lingkungan anak. Pendekatan Teori sosiokultural melalui pemahamannya tentang kognisi manusia sebagai perkembangan dibentuk melalui mediasi sosial dan budaya pikiran. Konsep dari teori socio cultural adalah melalui interaksi maka perkembangan kognitif anak akan di naik sampai di batas perkembangan zona proksimal atau melebihi perkembangan proksimal (ZPD) karena apa yang anak tidak ketahui akan mendapatkan informasi dari teman, guru dan orang tua serta dengan benda-benda disekitarnya. Orang dewasa yang lebih mampu atau rekan menyediakan dukungan dalam ZPDsehingga  perkembangan kognitif pada anak usia dini dipengaruhi oleh sosial kultural
