The results of preliminary observations indicate that economic learning at SMA Negeri 5 Malang is more likely to conventional learning or generally uses expository strategies so that students are only passive and are expected to be able to capture and remember information that has been given by the teacher and reveal what they have through the responses they give. when asked a question by the teacher. Learning like this situation means that economic learning that has been translated into class tends to teach a culture of competition that is more directed towards liberalism values to students and forgets the noble values of the Indonesian nation contained in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, especially in article 33, namely culture. togetherness, mutual cooperation and kinship in learning. In this regard, it is necessary to research and develop economic learning with national characteristics through models Trust Based Cooperative Learning to make economic learning based on the level of trust that students have into cooperative learning and can internalize the values contained in Pancasila and Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution which refers to the objectives of economic learning contained in the Content Standards.
This study uses a model approach Design Based Research in developing National Characteristics of Economic Learning through Models Trust Based Cooperative Learning. The data analysis technique used is quantitative with descriptive qualitative statistical techniques.
Based on the results of research and development, it shows that the results of students' responses during the trial at SMA Negeri 5 Malang were 94%. This means that the model scenario Trust Based Cooperative Learning be able to understand students about economic concepts that are in accordance with the ideology of the Indonesian nation, especially be able to instill the values of national character, including upholding togetherness, respecting the opinions of others, and deliberation for consensus
