Today, Postgraduate Program, State University of Malang, welcomed guests from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Darussalam Gontor University. Their arrival was intended for a comparative study regarding journal management at the State University of Malang. The Postgraduate Program at State University of Malang manages 3 types of journals, namely JPH (Journal of Humanities Education), JPS (Journal of Science Education), and JPTPP (Journal of Education: Technology, Research, and Development). In Room H1226, Postgraduate Building, several journal managers at the State University of Malang gathered to share knowledge with the journal managers of the University of Darussalam Gontor. Dr. Dedi Kuswandi, M.Pd, as one of the pioneers in managing the journal, told of the obstacles faced during the early days of the establishment of JPS and JPH. The problem most often faced is the minimal ability of students to write journals so that the editorial team takes a long time to process until the publication process. Journal management at Postgraduate is quite productive because within one year JPS and JPH published 4 times, while JPTPP published 12 times.
