DESCRIPTION MATAKULIAH

 

MKPS 901 Philosophy of science (2/2)

This subject discusses the nature of science from the point of view of ontology, epistemology, axiology, and ethics. Subjects include: truth criteria, the basics of science, the role of theory in the development of science, scientific development procedures, and a scientific framework; the development of science and technology and their effects on cultural values and national life; philosophy of science in the field of study.

 

MKPS 902 Educational Philosophy (2/2)

This subject discusses philosophical issues in education to formulate and theoretically justify educational programs. The topics discussed include various schools of educational philosophy, the application of philosophy to solve educational problems, and the application of educational philosophies to overcome the low quality of learning in the field of study.

 

MKGE 999 Philosophy of Geography (2/2)

This subject discusses the nature of geography from the point of view of ontology, epistology, axiology, and ethics. The topics covered include: the history of the development of geography, the flow of geography, the basic concepts of geography, various theories and models in geography, the development of the geographical paradigm, the relationship between geography and other social sciences, the development of geography and technology and their effects on human life.

 

MKGE 910 Development of Geography Teaching Materials (3/3)

This subject discusses the geography curriculum in SMP / SMA, PT. Analysis of textbooks and reference books written based on the applicable curriculum, on aspects of language, content, image media, and the application of a spatial approach. Development / preparation of textbooks, references based on the results of studies or research results of teaching materials for high school or university and public.

 

MKGE 911 The Problems of Geography Education (2/2)

 

This subject discusses educational and or learning problems, especially those related to geography education. Issues discussed include: curriculum weaknesses, quality of learning, geography learning outcomes, and future trends in geography (teachers / lecturers, students / students, UAN, and the role of geography for graduates).

 

MKGE 912 Writing Scientific Papers (2/2)

This subject discusses the principles of writing research and non-research scientific papers. Procedures and techniques for writing research scientific papers include: problem background, problem formulation, literature review, research methods, research results, discussion of research results, and writing of reference lists, and non-research scientific papers including: abstract, "introduction", method , study / discussion, conclusions, and a list of references. Writing scientific papers is to prepare national and international accredited journal writing and in Indonesian or English.

 

MKPS 05 Research Design and Data Analysis (4/4)

This subject discusses several modes and alternative patterns of research in the field of education, such as qualitative, quantitative, or other patterns, the use of various techniques and statistical tests as well as approaches and procedures for quantitative data analysis, interpretation, interpretation, and conclusions in qualitative research.

 

MKPS 903 Education Insights (2/2)

This subject discusses basic educational problems using macro insights, including issues facing the state / nation of Indonesia and their relation to policy choices and decisions. The points raised include: understanding of education problems, issues and policies, important issues in education and policies to overcome them (education and development; education and schooling; efforts to improve education).

 

MDIS 990 Dissertation (28 /)

A dissertation is an academic paper that is the result of an in-depth study and / or research conducted independently and contains new contributions to the development of science, or finding new answers to temporary problems for which the answer is known or asking new questions about things that are considered has been established in the fields of science, technology, and / or arts undertaken by a doctoral candidate under the guidance of supervisors. Research in the context of preparing a dissertation is an academic activity that adheres to the rules and uses empirical or non-empirical reasoning and meets the requirements of the methodology of the geography education discipline. The main points of study in the dissertation are problems in learning geography.

 

DIS650 Dissertation Proposal Seminar (2)

This subject discusses research proposals for dissertation writing in accordance with the field of study through seminars. Through this activity, research proposals are refined and strengthened. The result of the seminar is a research proposal approved by the promoter which is a prerequisite for taking the qualification exam. The assessment is Passed (L) or Not Passed (BL).
